MC 246 - Computer Aided Manufacturing and Design (CAD/CAM)

This course will introduce CNC Programming via computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM). Students will learn to use industry recognized software programs such as Mastercam as well as conversational programming. Basic parametric modeling and design will be taught, process layout, tool selections and how to post a program. Course focus will be on 2 and 3 axis programming.
