LM 100 - Introduction to Line Worker and Fundamentals of Power

This course provides students with the basic awareness of Electric Distribution and Engineering Technology and an overview of how electric power is distributed. This course will introduce students to industry terminology, materials, tools, and safety equipment. Students will focus on successfully completing equipment and pole evaluations, bucket truck and confined space evaluations and skilled trades’ assessments. Students will be introduced to the safety of climbing wooden poles using ladder and work platforms.
