This course provides an introduction to practical underground and overhead line distribution maintenance techniques. Areas of focus include identification and safe use of line tools; safe rigging practices; installation and repair of underground cables and equipment; and installations of cross-arms, transformers, and conductors. The course emphasizes the safe use of tools and equipment in the field dealing with electricity.
