Beginning with an overview of medical and allied health organizations, careers, and philosophy, this course teaches students to perform complete blood counts, phlebotomy, hematology, and coagulation procedures, and to interpret the results of these tests as they relate to anemia, leukemia, or hemostatic disorders in the human body.
