RA 100 - Introduction to Radiologic Technology

This course will introduce the student to the medical imaging profession. It will expose the student to the health care environment, operations of imaging departments and health care systems, the role of the radiographer, certification and career opportunities, and an overview of the science of radiation and image production.  In addition, medical terminology, patient care, and basic radiation protection will be emphasized.
