This course provides a study of the various diseases related to the imaging sciences. Discussion will include fundamentals of disease development and causes including bacterial and viral organisms, genetic anomalies, and injury. Students will learn to recognize diseases and adapt patient care, positioning, and technical factors, accordingly, to maintain optimal radiographic quality.
