BS 102 - ~General Biology II4 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 4
A Laboratory Course: 3 hours lecture and 2 hours laboratory work each week. This course will introduce the taxonomy and phylogeny of the biological world, and the biological kingdoms (i.e. prokaryotes, eukaryotes, etc.). This course will also introduce and explore basic anatomy and physiology of the main eukaryotic kingdoms, vertebrate and invertebrate organ systems, the basic principles of ecology, the highlights of Darwin’s theory of natural selection and other aspects of evolutionary theory.
