EM 218 - Rescue Operations

Prerequisite: Current and valid National Registry EMT-Basic Card for traditional students; current and valid National Registry AEMT Card for bridge students
Corequisite: EM 220

This course places an emphasis on search and rescue, crime scene awareness, hazardous materials and critical thinking in the pre-hospital setting. Advanced EMS Provider Skills labs and Clinical III will run concurrently with this course. Proficiency skills will be assessed accordingly and recorded in the student’s Master Portfolio.
