IT 170 - Fundamentals of Information Systems Security3 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 3
This course is intended to introduce the concepts of systems security. The major areas of instruction include information security fundamentals; the seven domains of a typical IT infrastructure; risks, threats, and vulnerabilities found in a typical IT infrastructure; and the security countermeasures employed to reduce or eliminate risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
