MG 242 - Personnel Strategy and Law3 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 3
In this course the student will l earn why employees behave in certain situations. The student will develop a strategic plan using staffing patterns, professional development, seminars, leadership development, and rewards systems designed to promote and encourage positive behavior of employees. Personnel laws and issues will be studied. These include the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 1991, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, immigration laws, affirmative action, gender and racial/ethnic equity, and sexual harassment.
