Purpose

The Criminal Justice Certificate Program provides basic knowledge and training in the skills required for employment in the Criminal Justice field.

The full Criminal Justice Certificate Program is available online. Some courses may be offered at Campus locations. Check schedule for offerings.

Program Level Outcomes:

  1. Students use critical thinking skills to identify facts and evidence in order to make decisions and apply the law.
  2. Students locate and interpret laws applicable to the specific situation.
  3. Students effectively document and write reports based on facts and evidence.
  4. Students identify effective communication skills and ethical behaviors in a diverse society.
  5. Early Childhood Development, Certificate
  6. Effectively use knowledge obtained in the education program in their chosen subject areas.
  7. Create and maintain a learning atmosphere that fosters a supportive learning community.
  8. Demonstrate knowledge in their content areas.
  9. Foster and monitor student learning.
  10. Participate as active members of their school communities; help to foster change when needed.
