Business managers depend on risk management to allow them to make appropriate decisions regarding the allocation of resources throughout their organization. As information systems continue to be a major investment and critical business components, risk management relating to information technology (IT) and information systems becomes increasingly important. This course explains ways in which IT professionals can identify risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to information systems. Furthermore, it offers ways to assess, mitigate, and manage risk effectively within an organization.
